Non-Running Car Transport, Central Texas
It does not have to crank. It does not have to steer. Mega ramps and a winch mean a car that has not moved in fifteen years loads the same as one you drive on.
Why most carriers say no
Almost every car hauler needs your vehicle to drive up onto the trailer under its own power. If it will not start, they cannot load it. A multi-car carrier will not come out of its way for one dead car at any price, and a broker cannot promise you a date because they do not own a truck.
That is the gap this business exists to fill.
A tow truck drags. A deck carries.
A flatbed tow truck winches your car up a steep ramp onto a steel bed at an angle. For a daily driver that is fine. For a car with the suspension out, no brakes, or paint you care about, it is not.
Ours goes up mega ramps at a shallow angle or comes up on the winch, sits flat on a 30ft gooseneck deck, and gets strapped by the wheels. Nothing drags. Nothing touches the bodywork.
Three questions we will ask
Does it roll, does it steer, and does it stop. Those three answers change how it gets loaded and how long it takes. None of them being yes is still fine, it just means the winch does the work.
What we move
- Cars that will not start, have no keys, or have a flat battery
- Seized engines and locked brakes
- Project cars and barn finds that have not moved in years
- Cars with the engine, gearbox or suspension out
- Auction and salvage buys
- Flood, fire and collision-damaged vehicles
If it is in one piece and it rolls onto a deck, it goes. If it does not roll, the winch still gets it there.
What every job includes
- Your vehicle is the only vehicle on the deck. Nothing loaded above it, nothing leaking onto it, and no waiting three weeks while other cars are dropped off first.
- Time-stamped photographs at pickup and at delivery. So there is never an argument about a mark that was already there.
- Licensed and insured motor carrier. USDOT 4545179, MC-1804329. Certificate of insurance on request.
- You talk to the driver. Not a call centre, and not a broker who sells your job on to whoever bids lowest. The person quoting you is the person who shows up.
